Development and Performance Evaluation of an Integrated Disc Cutter System for TBMs

Changing the cutter is an essential procedure in tunnel boring machine (TBM) operations. The danger and low efficiency of manually replacing disc has led engineering equipment designers to study technologies automate changing cutters. key step design a new integrated (simplifying replacement process) facilitate robot operation. Until now, research systems mainly relied on inspiration. In this paper, solution space certain configuration system based topology theory was designed. evaluation for constructed by analytic hierarchy process (AHP), optimal scheme finally obtained. addition, experiments simulations show that structural strength anti-loosening performance meet requirements. Application provides useful theoretical analyses guidance systems.
